Blogmas: Nailed It!

Welcome to Day 6 of Blogmas! Trying something a little different and share a few nail designs. For me, with little spare time, nail designing is quick and usually done before I sleep, but it can be nice to spend a little more time to create a different look for any occasion. I had a lot of fun doing these…I’ve created designs for winter, just for fun, and for that special occasion…

I used pastel colours and cold blues to create these designs, with subtle glitter ends, or just a top coat to give that shine. These are a lovely subtle day look, perfect to match with knitted jumpers!

No need for nail art pens, I only used five different colours to create these designs, and little nail gems to finish them off. These are perfect to pair with a Christmas jumper, or to wear just for fun.

I haven’t used expensive nail polishes to create these looks, in fact my favourite ones are the PS brand from Primark. Putting a top coat on top designs not only helps the polish last longer, but also creates a more finished outcome.

A top tip is to use a make up sponge to dab on glitter nail polish: the sponge will soak up most of the polish so when dabbed on, it will look more like what you see in the bottle.

Do you have any favourite nail brands or nail designs?
